Undertaker bio and permissions
Apr. 1st, 2012 12:49 amThe Undertaker [Kuroshitsuji], is still a pretty mysterious character, although more of his past has been revealed since I started playing him. For a more in-depth look, you can refer to the wiki (http://kuroshitsuji.wikia.com/wiki/Undertaker), or better yet, check out the manga. It is excellent.
But here are a few basics. The Undertaker is a retired shinigami (reaper of souls), who now works as an Undertaker in Victorian Era London (performing autopsies, digging graves, arranging funerals, the whole shebang, as well as peddling some information on the side). Spoilers, in the most recent manga arc he was involved in, he ended up making a ship full of zombies because he wanted to see if he could.
Personality: The Undertaker delights in laughter and joy, although he's a pretty twisted fellow, so he derives it from all sorts of strange places. He goes out of his way to be creepy (invading personal space, poking, hiding in coffins, and serving bone shaped cookies and tea in beakers, for starters). He would do most anything for a laugh. The only thing he really takes seriously is his job. Death is his work, and he makes certain that all of his 'guests' have a first rate experience by his hands.
Abilities: As a (retired) shinigami, Undertaker is capable of summoning (and using) a Death Scythe, although he also fights with sotoba (wooden Japanese grave markers), and is pretty handy with a scalpel as well (partly my head-canon). Note, as a shinigami, he is near-sighted, though most do not notice because he is so accustomed to working around it. Undertaker is also pretty up-to-date on his Victorian Era science, able to perform autopsies and surgeries, as well as run some not so legal/ethical experiments. He also bakes a mean bone-shaped cookie.
Appearance: The Undertaker dresses in black (boots, undercoat, overcoat, and let's not forget the hat), with a belt of lockets and a rosary to accent it. He has long, silver hair with bangs kept long to cover his yellow shinigami eyes.
